I was a little wary about leaving the house this morning because it poured rain and then froze overnight, but by 9:30, when I left, the salters had been out. My 10 year old daughter surprised me by saying she wanted to do the race. I stuck with her for a couple of miles, but then she wanted to walk at a molasses pace, so I kept going without her. I kept a slow and steady pace - I just wanted to finish and get my bling.
This was the 5th time I had done this race - 2012, 2014-2017
I am definitely looking forward to adding to this wall this year!
