Back from the vacation

I will definitely be writing more about vacation, but I wanted to just write a quick post.

We got back on Saturday on our 2 week trip to Colorado, Utah and Wyoming.

We flew into Denver and spent 3 nights visiting a variety of family, and then drove to Moab, Utah to spend 4 nights. This was the view from the back of our cabin,

We did a hot, 3 mile round-trip hike to Delicate Arch in Arches National Park.

We drove from Moab, Utah to Jackson, Wyoming in 1 day - 550 miles. While we saw a lot, the highlight was seeing the Total Solar Eclipse.

This is as it got dark - it wasn't pitch black but it was sunset dark,

This is a morning shot in Grand Teton National Park on our way to Yellowstone National Park. The smog look over the mountains is smoke from forest fires in Washington/Idaho.

This is the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone.

But now we are back. A vacation 15 years in the planning is done. And immediately I had to jump into back-to-school stuff (they went back yesterday) - Who knows when I will have the time to go through the 3,328 pictures/videos we all took. But the thing on the top of my mind is getting back to exercising and eating healthy - time to get this weight off again!
